B.I. Foods has been producing the finest Roast Beef since 1983. In 2020 it was purchased by Chef Rick Tarantino , Wayne Voshell and Kevin Ingraldi and renamed value Added Food Group. The facility has under gone mny upgrades to add the value added food capabilities and is constantly changing to keep up with the newest innovations in product manufacturing, packaging and HACCP regulations. In 2022 we proudly became SQFedition 9 certified to further strengthen our internal controls in providing Safe Quality Food.
VAFG services retail, foodservice, and institutional markets nationwide and Internationally . The company specializes in manufacturing a complete line of Value Added Products from Grilled Chicken Breasts, Chicken Strips, Pulled Chicken, Pulled Pork, Pulled Beef, Cooked Beef Burgers, Grilled Split Chicken, Fully Cooked Baby Back Ribs, Roast Pork , Fully Cooked Filet Roast, and Cooked Steaks ready for any supermarket , direct to consumer meal program or instituntional meal program. Our strong back ground in the deli business continues with our Deli Offerinngs including Roast Beef, Corned Beef, Pastrami Italian Roast Pork and Pot Roast. We make varioius types of Roast Beef include USDA Choice, Black Angus and all levels of injection from non-injected, 0% (green weight), 10%, 20% and value added (ISP) and regional profiles such as Italian and Cajun Style.
VAFG continues to expand its product mix with new pork items including St. Louis style ribs, baby back ribs, shredded pork, seasoned cooked pork, pork osso buco and pork chops.
The uniqueness and flexibility allows us to meet our customer’s needs in today’s changing environment. Our products are custom trimmed and cooked to the customer’s specifications.
